Hospital Resources
Southern Legacy of Life (SLL) is proud to partner with hospitals and healthcare professionals across Arkansas to support the organ and tissue donation process.
As the federally designated Organ Procurement Organization (OPO) for Arkansas, SLL works alongside hospital teams to ensure donation opportunities are identified, managed with care, and carried out in compliance with federal and state regulations.
Our goal is to support clinical teams with clear guidance, timely coordination, and resources that help preserve the option for organ, eye, and tissue donation while honoring each patient and their family.
Why Hospital Partnership Matters
Organ donation is made possible through strong collaboration between hospitals and SLL.
Timely referrals allow our clinical coordinators to evaluate donation potential, support hospital teams, and ensure that patients and families are given the opportunity to honor end-of-life decisions regarding organ donation.
Together, we help bridge the gap between the number of patients waiting for a transplant and the number of organs available to save lives.
