Brandon Morris
Brandon D. Morris is Vice President of External Affairs at Southern Legacy of Life, where he leads strategic communications, government affairs and stakeholder engagement initiatives. Morris brings nearly 20 years of public relations experience to the position and previously worked at the Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO) where he delivered high impact multimedia communications, developed messaging that supported key corporate strategies, and managed media relations and crisis communications.
Before joining MISO, Morris held senior roles in public affairs and emergency communications, including leading state government affairs and community engagement at Union Pacific Railroad and managing disaster communications for the Arkansas Department of Emergency Management. He began his career supporting public affairs operations for the U.S. Army’s Pine Bluff Arsenal through SAIC.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Arkansas State University and a Master of Public Administration from Webster University, along with Accreditation in Public Relations and Military Communication (APR+M). Morris is the immediate past chair of the Little Rock Sister Cities Commission, serves as vice president of the Arkansas State University Alumni Association board, and is active in the Arkansas chapter of PRSA.
