Mark Tudor

Mark Tudor is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Southern Legacy of Life, Arkansas’s largest organ and tissue recovery agency. With more than 25 years of experience in the organ, tissue, and eye recovery field, Mark has dedicated his career to saving and improving lives through donation.

Before joining Southern Legacy of Life, Mark served as Senior Director of Organ Procurement Operations at LifeNet Health in Virginia Beach, Virginia. He also led the creation of two surgical recovery facilities at Gift of Life Michigan, where he held several leadership roles, including Director of Hospital and Recovery Services and Director of Surgical Services. Throughout his career, Mark has been recognized for his results-oriented leadership, strategic planning, and commitment to staff development.

Mark holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Bowling Green State University and a Master of Science in Management, Strategy, and Leadership from Michigan State University. He is certified in transplant preservation and procurement coordination.

A passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion, Mark previously served as president of the Association for Multicultural Affairs in Transplantation, working to improve equity in organ and tissue donation and transplantation.

Mark’s dedication to the mission of donation is also deeply personal. He is a donor father—his daughter Marissa became an organ, tissue, and eye donor after her sudden passing at age 22, providing life-saving gifts to five people and healing hundreds more.

Mark is committed to building on Southern Legacy of Life’s successes, expanding opportunities for donation, and restoring lives across Arkansas and beyond.
